Gifts for Grandparents
This is another tough year for grandparents, many of whom are not able to see their families as much as they’d like due to the pandemic. Our family loves sending cards and cut snowflakes to liven up the homes of our grandparents and great-grandparents!
Paper Snowflake Greeting Cards

Cut-out Paper Snowflakes
If you think your grandparent would like a little extra holiday cheer this year, consider cutting out some paper snowflakes and sending them pre-cut to be used as window decorations, gift wrap, and more!
We plan to send a bunch of paper snowflakes to the Veteran’s Home where my grandfather lives. I usually cut from my pattern pack, and the kids like to make up their own unique snowflakes to share.

Gifts for Children
My kids make paper snowflakes year-round, but as soon as November shows up, we have a permanent pile of hole punchings blowing around on the floor. We put snowflakes on our windows, walls, on gifts, in cards, on garlands, on the Christmas tree… you name it. Here are some of my kids’ (ages 6 and 9) favorite items!
SNOW - Illustrated Book for All Ages
When I was little, I loved playing outside with my big brother. We would sled, build forts, skate around the icy driveway on our boots, spell out words in the snow for planes, and have snowball fights.
Now that I have kids of my own, the snow can be more of a nuisance — I spend more time shoveling the driveway and scraping ice off the car than I do making snow angels.
This book is a celebration of the fun and magic that snow can bring, and it reminds me how every season can be fun and special. It reminds me to skate around on my boots with my kids while I’m shoveling the driveway, and enjoy the winter as it passes.
The book is illustrated through hand-cut paper snowflakes set against watercolor backgrounds. These are some of the most complicated snowflakes I’ve ever made, and the whole book took me 3 years to create, so I’m very proud and excited to see it in print and share it with others.

Printed Paper Snowflake Patterns
This year, I have six (!!) printed pattern packs to offer! Each pack has ten patterns according to a theme.
When you see the patterns in-person, you’ll notice that the paper is thinner than traditional copy paper. These patterns are printed on 16lb eco-friendly paper, which is 20% thinner than standard copy paper, and therefore is easier to fold & cut (my kids have no trouble folding or cutting it!).
The cut snowflakes are fun for decorating, as a surprise in greeting cards, or taped on top of gifts!
